what is a minga ?

In Colombia, a "minga" refers to a traditional form of communal work or collective action, often used in indigenous and rural communities. It involves members of the community coming together to work on a project for the common good, such as building infrastructure, harvesting crops, or organizing social and cultural events. The concept emphasizes mutual aid, solidarity, and the strengthening of social bonds within the community.

Our minga is made of coffee producing families, community leaders, cuppers, lab analysts, truck drivers, warehouse and dry mill workers, logisticians, roasters, and coffee drinkers. We serve as coordinators of all those talented people to bring exceptional coffees from the heights of Huila, Colombia to Europe, while making sure we keep everyone’s interests at heart.
