Pink bourbon Washed
Martha Reyna — the Queen — has been producing high-quality coffees in Huila for 15 years. Originally from Putumayo, Martha and her husband fled the violence of the armed conflict in 2010 and eventually settled in Huila.
When her husband became unwell, they sold half of their land to their neighbours. Martha then took the lead and now runs their 4-hectare farm, with 2 hectares dedicated to coffee and 2 to avocado.
She cultivates a remarkable diversity of coffee varieties, including Bourbon Aji, Pink Bourbon, Chiroso, Gesha, Cenicafé and Papayo. The farm is equally rich in fruit trees, with citrus, grapefruit, chachafruto, jackfruit, guanabana, guava, avocado and many others growing alongside the coffee.
